The pattern I used was Originals "Background Bar" for a 6" x6" card. I used a template and inked a square in Key Lime ink (Z2131), then added Pear ink (Z2197) for depth and variation. I stamped the image and sentiment in Gypsy ink (Z2190). I then added patterned papers and cardstock from the My Reflections Paper Packet - Hooligans (X7129B) and brads from Mini Medley Pear (Z1339).

Great card laurie...hope you're getting excited about your spa retreat! can't wait to hear all about it.
ReplyDeleteCute card. I really like the 'squareiness' to it, if that makes sense. :) Nice idea to sponge some color in a square behind the stamped image. Nice contrast.
ReplyDeleteLove your card:)
ReplyDeleteLove the sponged square!
ReplyDeleteThe sponged color adds interest and more color - really brings the focus to the skull.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your spa retreat!!!
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, I will have to try the sponged square. It looks great.
ReplyDeleteGreat card! That sponged square makes the focal image POP, and the green skull is cool.
