CTMH - Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - May 2010 - Cherish the Moment

Welcome to the May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  This month, we're featuring: Cherish the Moment - a great set for cards, scrapbooks and altered items!

This month, I decided to create an altered journal using the new Cherry-O Papers.  I stamped the image in Tulip ink.  Then I added Tulip Mini Medleys (the photo hanger and ribbon), Colonial White Designer Brads,  and the adorable new Cherry-O adhesive gems!  (They are SOOO cute!)

When I saw the new circle punch, and the idea of using it to create a flower in the summer idea book, I knew I HAD to try it!  I love these Cherry-O papers, so I used those.  I distressed the edge of each of the circles before folding and adhering so the flower would pop.   When my husband saw the card, he said, "wow - that took a long time."  Um, no - it was EASY!
