CTMH - August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - It's Your Day!

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring August's SOTM, which is "It's Your Day." If you have come here from Judy's Blog, you are on the right path! If this is your first stop, you may want to go back to Jena's Blog and start from the beginning!

This month we have 60+ Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

For this invitation, I used the August stamp of the month - It's Your Day. I stamped the images in Holiday Red Ink. I masked out the '!' at the end of the "shhh, it's a surprise!" stamp. I then added the word Party to form the phrase - 'shhh, it's a surprise PARTY. I used the edge distresser on the colonial white cardstock, then inked the edges with the Holiday Red Ink. I crumpled and sanded the Game On Patterned Paper. Finally, I added 4 Holiday Red brads from the Summer Carnival Collection.

For this card, I began with the Sweet Pea My Reflections Level 2 Paper Packet. I then took a square of Baby Pink cardstock. I used the Piercing tool and needle to sew Watermelon sassy strands (from the Summer Celebration collection) around the edge of the cardstock. Using Watermelon ink, I stamped the "PARTY" image on one of the Dimensional Elements Perennials and added the word "time!" on the baby pink cardstock.

Now "Hop" on over to
